1. Who these terms are between

These terms are between you and [Developer name] (“we”), the developer of MangoRSS. By downloading or using MangoRSS or this website, you agree to them.

2. Your license

MangoRSS is distributed through the Mac App Store and the App Store. Your right to use the app is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), together with these terms. If the two conflict, the Standard EULA wins.

3. Free version, Pro trial and MangoRSS Pro

• MangoRSS is free to download and use, with no time limit.
• For the first 14 days, the MangoRSS Pro features are also unlocked at no cost. You don’t have to buy anything, and nothing is charged automatically.
• After the 14 days, the app goes back to the free version unless you buy Pro. The free version includes reading, folders, tags, search, highlights, iCloud sync, backup and restore, and 3 smart filters. Your data is kept.
• MangoRSS Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. It unlocks the Pro features on every Mac, iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch signed in with the same Apple Account, as Apple’s purchase sharing allows.
• Payments, restores and refunds are handled by Apple. To ask for a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com.
• We may add, change or improve features over time. We will not take away a Pro feature you have paid for without good reason, such as a change by Apple or a third party that makes it impossible to keep.

4. No account

MangoRSS does not need an account with us. You are responsible for your own devices, your Apple Account, and any third-party accounts you connect, such as FreshRSS, Miniflux, Things or Readwise.

5. Content from the sites you follow

MangoRSS shows content published by other people: articles, images, podcasts and videos from the feeds and sites you choose to follow. That content belongs to its owners. We do not create, host, check or endorse it, and we are not responsible for it. Please respect each site’s terms and copyright, for example when you export highlights or send articles to other services.

6. Acceptable use

Please don’t use MangoRSS to break the law, to overload or attack the sites you follow, or to get around paywalls or other access controls. Don’t reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.

7. AI assistants and other integrations

If you connect an AI assistant to MangoRSS on the Mac, through the MCP server or the command line tool, or send articles to other apps, those services are run by others under their own terms. You decide what they can access, and you are responsible for what you ask them to do with your feeds.

8. On-device features

Listen, Translate and Summarize use Apple’s technologies on your device. Translations and summaries are generated automatically and may contain mistakes. Check the original article before relying on them.

9. Your data

Your data is yours. We don’t collect it; see the Privacy Policy. Because your data lives on your devices and in your iCloud, please keep backups. MangoRSS can back up everything to a single file.

10. No warranty

MangoRSS is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can’t promise it will be free of bugs, that every feed will work, or that it will always be available. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not stated in these terms or the Standard EULA.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of MangoRSS. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for MangoRSS Pro. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

12. Trademarks

MangoRSS and its icon are trademarks of [Developer name]. Apple, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, iCloud, Siri, Apple Intelligence and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Other names belong to their owners.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using MangoRSS after a change, the new terms apply.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and without taking away the protection of mandatory laws in the country where you live.
